Gayan Abeynayake enjoyed assisting at Cardiff University’s School of Engineering blade school. He met teenage scientists, answered questions about his work and listened to their ideas on wind energy. The pupils constructed rotating turbines and learnt about the different types of blades. He was impressed with their ideas, enthusiasm and results!
