33rd Science Projects Workshop – Future Classroom Lab, Brussels

On Saturday 21 September, Vaishally Bhardwaj and Nathalia Campos joined the 33rd Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab at European Schoolnet (Brussels) to demonstrate how different forms of power generation (e.g. wind, solar, etc) supply power to consumers through the grid. Scientix, the community for science education in Europe, and the STEM School Label project co-organised the 2-day event. It welcomed over 50 European science, technology, engineering & maths (STEM) teachers and heads of schools. Vaishally and Nathalia showed them how to create a simple electric motor from a small battery and copper wire. Click on the videos to see them spin:
