On Saturday 21 September, Vaishally Bhardwaj and Nathalia Campos joined the 33rd Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab at European Schoolnet (Brussels) to demonstrate how different forms of power generation – such as wind and solar – supply power to consumers through the grid.
Scientix, the community for science education in Europe, and the STEM School Label project co-organised the 2-day event. It welcomed over 50 European science, technology, engineering & maths (STEM) teachers and heads of schools.
Vaishally and Nathalia showed the teachers how to create a simple electric motor from a small battery and copper wire. Click on the videos to watch them spin:
