EnergyVille organised the webinar What can we learn from the Covid-19 pandemic for the renewable energy transition?
The presenters, Prof Ronnie Belmans and InnoDC supervisors, Hakan Ergun and Jef Beerten, described the changes in power generation, compared to pre-pandemic years, and how these will affect future reliability. Jovana Dakic found the webinar particularly useful in that it helped her understand the impact of ‘working from home’ on the power system, the relation between generation and demand, as well as the change in electricity price.
