Vattenfall hosted Anuhav Jain on secondment in March 2020. The original plan had been to spend one month at Vattenfall’s Copenhagen office and two at its Kolding premises. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, this was cut to a couple of weeks. Nonetheless, Anubhav makes the most of every situation and found his time at Vattenfall productive in that he:
(1) gained insight into the industry perspective;
(2) received valuable information on practical issues related to energisation and auxiliaries; and
(3) clarified steps needed for the last phase of his project work.
At the end of his InnoDC contract in February 2021, he returned to Vattenfall to conduct collaborative research for 5 months, working on blackstart and islanding capabilities. Read about it here.
